In this role you’ll make an impact by: Design, configure and support SAP APO in SNP and CIF modules, based on specific business requirements. Resolve Service Requests/Incidents and problem management cases related to production support by identifying the root causes where subject matter expertise is required Monitor CIF (Core Interface), identify and resolve interface issues to ensure the data consistency between ECC & APO systems Collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective SAP solutions that support business objectives Ensure the prioritized backlog in a sprint cycle is delivered on time and meets customer expectations. Produce relevant documentation related to support, changes & projects to describe the procedures required to maintain customized functionality. Produce end user documentation, describing how to use the newly developed or existing functionality if applicable. Assist end users in preparing test scripts, training manuals and conduct training as needed Maintain a continuous improvement mindset of internal processes and supporting tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Solution Manager, Cherwell) To succeed you must hold: Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in science/B.E./MBA or equivalent SAP APO (SNP) or IBP Certification will be an added advantage Minimum 3+ years of domain experience in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, or Logistics & Distribution Minimum 5-6 years of Support and implementation experience in SAP APO (SNP) and Core Interface with good knowledge in Demand planning & PPDS Proven experience in providing APO production support, as well as planning and executing system enhancements Experience with at least 1-2 SAP APO Implementation, rollout and upgrade projects Good knowledge on integrated modules like SAP PP, MM & SD modules Experience in configuring various aspects of SNP, including Planning Areas, Planning Books, Data Views, Planning Boards, Heuristics, Optimizers, CIF (Core Interface). This includes generation and activation of integration models, error handling and root cause analysis Good working knowledge of SAP TLB (Transportation Load Builder) and MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) in SAP ECC Good knowledge in IBP Planning Area Structure, Key figures, Attributes and Forecasting Algorithm Techniques would be an added advantage Working experience with different kinds of master data within SAP APO, IBP and SAP ECC or S/4 HANA Ability to trouble shoot and work with ALE/IDOCs and various other integrations with different SAP & non-SAP systems Basic knowledge in ABAP and ability to perform simple debugging independently.
