Lead Building Services Aide (40hr, Nights)
Job description

Cleans, disinfects and performs other housekeeping tasks assigned in the hospital which may include: vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets, washing walls, cleaning patient rooms, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning office areas. Performs project work (stripping/refinishing floors, etc.) as assigned. Removes infectious waste according to protocol, disposes of regular trash. Moves furniture, sets up rooms for meetings. Assists the supervisor in the training of new staff. Acts and performs at the most proficient leave and as a resource to Building Services Aides. Job Description: Assists supervisor in variety of tasks including onboarding new staff and projects. Provides training and shares knowledge. Coordinates with Lead Building Service Aide from previous shift about any issues and projects. Coordinates on project work and time sensitive work flow with supervisor. Checks all staff are signed in and in their assigned areas within ten minutes after start of shift. Answer pager in a timely manner. Ensure the house pager is passed to the next shift. Periodically check voicemail during shift. Cleans the following on a daily basis using a variety of chemicals: floors, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, shelves, dispensers, trash receptacles, beds, mattresses, stretchers, tables, chairs, desks, carpets, windows, mirrors, sinks, toilets, urinals, counters, doors, elevators and tracks, stairs, window tracks and ledges, vents and baseboards. Sets up carts as appropriate. Removes and disposes of all trash, waste and litter. Refills soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers and replaced toilet paper. Pay Range: $18.74 - $25.22 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
