Job description

What success looks like in this role: Windows Systems Administration — Administers Windows development, test, and production servers including reloading, re-imaging, patching, GPO configuration, and OS hardening. Advanced Troubleshooting — Diagnoses and resolves complex Windows OS, Active Directory, and server connectivity issues. Monitoring & Proactive Response — Performs daily monitoring of Windows systems, services, and performance; initiates proactive remediation. Software Management — Installs, removes, and upgrades Windows-based software packages and agents. Incident Remediation — Owns Level 2 Windows-related tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis. Operational Reporting — Provides system evaluation reports and contributes to operational recommendations for Windows environments. Documentation & Compliance — Updates system records, ensures licensing compliance, and maintains accurate configuration data for Windows assets. Knowledge Transfer — Creates runbooks and how-to guides; trains Level 1 analysts on Windows procedures. You will be successful in this role if you have: BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination. Strong experience with Windows troubleshooting and server administration. Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts. U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required. May also hold Linux credentials if permitted. Shift timings: Shift 1: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm EST Shift 2: Monday - Friday 3pm - 12am EST Shift 3: Monday - Friday 11pm - 8am EST Weekend Shift 1: Saturday & Sunday - 7am - 8pm EST Weekend Shift 2: Saturday & Sunday - 7pm - 8am EST * Weekend shifts will also include 16 additional hours during the week. #LI-JV1 This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
