Global IS Vendor Manager for Networking Services

This position reports to: IS Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be accountable for establishing, leading and governing strong global vendor relationships with Strategic Partners and Vendors, focusing on IS Vendors delivering Global and Regional IS Network Services. You will engage with vendors to establish and maintain a collaborative vendor ecosystem, ensuring best practice in outsourcing where vendors meet their contractual performance commitments against agreed commercials. You will act as escalation point for business teams regarding vendor issues, resolve disputes, and ensure improvement management to create business value for the ecosystem. The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Work with the Service Owners and Subject Matter Experts to make sure the IS Vendors for Network Services meet key performance indicators and agreed targets. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop strategies to address any under-performance and compliance failures, including contract terms. Manage the portfolio of contractual agreements for Network Services IS Vendors in scope. Maintaining and negotiating contract changes with support or in collaboration with IS Sourcing. Create an environment in which the organization and its vendors collaborate to their mutual benefit, ensuring positive and effective working relationships are developed and maintained. Implementation and execution of credit management models including rewards or penalties depend on vendor performance. Invoice management, pricing management, business case tracking, accruals, budget and forecasts, and purchase orders as cost center owner or cost center manager as applicable. Establish a vendor governance model together with the IS and Business teams that are relevant for the relationship with the Network Services IS vendors in scope. Governing and initiating periodical vendor assessments, such as benchmarks, audits, vendor ratings, performance analyses etc. to validate the effectiveness of the IS Strategy. Ensure delivered services from a vendor correspond with agreed terms, conditions and price. Manage vendor compliance, risk and conformance. Qualifications for the role You have 8-10 years of experience in outsourcing relationships with proven track record in vendor management Ability to demonstrate 7+ years of experience in business relations with global strategic partners Possess enhanced knowledge of vendor governance with comprehensive IT understanding, especially in Global IS Network Services, within complex vendor ecosystem Highly adept in contract management, IT controlling and financial management You have 5+ years of experience working with or in manufacturing industry You are passionate about clear communication and persuasive influence to establish credibility, with excellent conflict resolution skills and strong leadership in collaboration and negotiation You are at ease communicating in English (spoken and written) with cultural awareness and the ability to work as a team player in a complex, multicultural and global team Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
