The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic academic environment and has experience coordinating complex programs, events, and communications while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong administrative and project coordination skills are essential, including maintaining records and databases, tracking timelines, preparing reports and correspondence, and monitoring budgets and purchasing activities. The successful candidate is collaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to identify issues proactively and ensure seamless program operations.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of related experience working at Texas A&M University College Station. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Verbal and written communication skills. Essential Duties/Tasks Program Planning and Implementation - Plans and implements program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, and workshops. Coordinates program communications and marketing. Plans and implements programs and assists in their evaluation. Responds to inquiries regarding program offerings. Program Coordination and Support - Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events. Compiles program statistics. Maintains program records and databases. Administrative Operations Management - Oversees planning and execution of administrative operations. Reviews and monitors project and program timelines and proactively identifies issues. Edits and proofread materials for reports and correspondence. Prepares, modifies, and verifies documents. Staff and Training Management - May supervise program staff. May develop and update training materials and deliver training sessions. Funding and Resource Management - Assists with fiscal and purchasing activities. Assists in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events.
