About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, Seed-stage AI startup in Munich as its first Customer Success Manager. The company automates inside sales workflows — quoting, order processing, and customer inquiries — for distributors and manufacturers using AI, integrating directly with enterprise ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Oracle.
You'll own the complete customer journey from day one, working hand-in-hand with the Chief Product Officer, sales, and engineering teams to drive adoption, retention, and expansion. This role sits at the intersection of customer partnership and product influence — and will directly shape how the company grows.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle: sales support, onboarding, adoption, and expansion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers, building deep, long-term partnerships.
- Lead onboarding and implementation programs to ensure fast time-to-value and sustained engagement.
- Run workshops and training sessions to accelerate product adoption and share best practices.
- Translate customer feedback into actionable product insights and influence the roadmap.
- Help customers unlock measurable efficiency gains and cost savings, supporting them through key negotiations.
- Drive retention, account growth, and strategic partnership development.
- Collaborate closely with product, sales, and engineering to ensure customer needs shape development priorities.

Required:
- 1+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or client relationship management in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering customer onboarding, training sessions, and workshops to drive product adoption.
- Confident communicator able to engage with and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset — able to distil complex issues into clear, actionable insights.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams.
- Proactive, empathetic, and people-oriented — genuinely motivated to create lasting customer value.
- Native-level German and fluent English (both are essential for this role).
- Willingness to work fully on-site in Munich, with occasional travel to customer sites.
- Right to work in Germany (visa sponsorship is not available).
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to construction, HVAC, electrical, building materials, supply chain, or trades industries.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or early-stage company environment.
- Background in or familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
Location
This is a fully on-site role based in Munich, Germany. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected. Visa sponsorship is not available — candidates must have the right to work in Germany.
