Position: Regional Client Program Manager Location: São Paulo (SP), Brazil Work type: On-site (5 days per week in the office) Application deadline: August 14th. Our opportunity We are looking for our new Regional Client Program Manager, who will have the Ownership of the Operational Strategy with one of our global key customers. Will translate the commitment to the customers in execution across Ocean and Logistics and is responsible for implementing new and additional business with the customer. The Regional Client Program Manager applies awareness of the customer’s supply chain to drive improvements and efficiencies creating value to the customer and Maersk. Main responsibilities: Accountable for: Global Customer Relationship (as per stakeholder mapping) Global Customer Satisfaction Value to the customer (realization of existing contracts and new initiatives) Value to Maersk (efficiencies, automation, and standardization) Ensuring Customer Business Retention Seeking Executive Sponsor support for service delivery of the contracts Extended account team alignment to the service delivery of the contracts with Maersk. Ensure execution and reporting as per compliance requirements. Comply with Neutrality and Confidentiality guidelines Responsible for: Selling Uncover customer pain points / supply chain challenges and define initiatives to address/eliminate same. Delivering Monitor service delivery performance globally or within scope assigned. Own and resolve customer operational escalations. Design customer scorecard & KPIs Engage with 3rd Party / Non-Maersk partners (customer suppliers, partners, service providers and vendors) Ensure foundation in place to deliver (eg. SOPs / Origin Workshops etc.) Ensuring new/additional business is implemented (incl EDI etc.) Ensure that relevant financial measures are effectively managed and act as an escalation point in case. Ensure access to correct, rates, information and contacts on all third party (non-Maersk) supplier and partners. Manage gain sharing agreement. Strategy Detailed understanding of the customer’s supply chain strategy and needs. Develop a joint strategic roadmap with the customer, the Key Client Director, and the Global Program Director. Design IT roadmap and strategy. Create contingency / resilience plan. Identify efficiency and optimization initiatives to increase profitability/reduce cost to serve. Digital transformation / new system implementation. Relevant experience in position of leadership in the foreign trade area (Sales, operation, customer service, projects, key clients and others). Experience with continuous Improvement techniques and metric driven, supply chain optimization knowledge; Project Management and training skills; Ability to organize and facilitate larger meetings and workshops. Technical skills: Excel (Mandatory) / Power Bi (Desirable) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Foreign trade, International Relations, finance or any other related to the field AND Certification on yellow belt, green belt, black belt, internal continuous improvement, or project management. Languages: Fluent Portuguese and advanced English (Mandatory) / Spanish (Desirable) Soft Skills: Composure (high capacity for managing pressure and prioritization); Assertive/decisive and pro-active; High sense of urgency and persistence; Confidence in dealing with people and building relationships; Ability to focus to define a vision, objectives and priorities; Ability to see and act on both the big picture and the daily operational issues; Ability to problem solve and recommend appropriate course of action; Analytical and structured approach; Able to give constructive feedback and challenge where appropriate; Ability to manage stakeholders on various levels in the organization; Ability to manage virtual teams; Customer centric.
