Work Flexibility: Remote Stryker is seeking a Staff Biostatistician to join our Instruments division. This is a U.S.-based remote position, with preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones. As the Staff Biostatistician, you will support the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical research data across the product development lifecycle. This role combines statistical leadership, clinical trial support, and scientific collaboration to ensure high-quality analyses that inform research, regulatory submissions, publications, and business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and clinical investigators while serving as a key statistical expert for assigned studies. This individual contributor role requires independent application of statistical expertise to support clinical research programs, evaluate study data, develop analytical strategies, and deliver accurate, timely statistical outputs for internal and external stakeholders. What You Will Do Develop statistical analysis plans, including methodology, derived variables, data handling rules, analysis populations, and table, listing, and figure specifications. Lead statistical support for clinical trials by analyzing study data and generating statistical outputs, reports, and study deliverables. Contribute statistical content to clinical trial protocols, regulatory documentation, study reports, and scientific publications. Perform statistical analyses using SAS and other analytical tools to support clinical research, operational metrics, and data-driven decision-making. Design and evaluate technical solutions, databases, and analytical processes that improve clinical trial execution and data evaluation. Collaborate with clinical, data management, regulatory, and research teams to support protocol design, study conduct, and interpretation of results. Present statistical findings to project teams and explain analysis methods and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor junior statisticians and support the development of statistical standards, procedures, and best practices. What You Need Required Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field with medical research content. Minimum 4 years of relevant biostatistics experience, inclusive of postgraduate experience.

Experience

supporting clinical trials through statistical analysis plan development, data analysis, and reporting. Knowledge of clinical trial design, statistical methodologies, and regulatory requirements applicable to clinical research. Preferred Proficiency with SAS analytical software.

Experience

working with relational databases and clinical research data management systems.

Experience

supporting scientific publications, including abstracts, posters, and peer-reviewed manuscripts. Knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and ISO 14155 requirements. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.
