Job Description Summary Manage the buying process for a defined set of goods and suppliers supporting multiple internal Wind customers as a Cross- Site Buyer. The role is organizationally part of the home site/team while providing operational buying support to the home site/team as well as other sites/teams in the Wind organization. Apply fulfilment and sourcing policies, act as the interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders with respect to specifications, delivery, and budgets, and leverage synergies across sites while resolving supply, capacity, and execution constraints. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Act as buyer for selected commodities and suppliers across multiple sites/inventory organizations to leverage synergies and resolve capacity and supply constraints. Remain part of and report into the home team structure, while providing operational buying support to an additional factory/site as part of a cross-site procurement setup. Build and maintain a common line of balance across the supported sites. Report directly to the local/home manager and work in close alignment with the fulfilment leaders of the supported site(s); participate in their operational rhythm and KPI reviews as required. Place and follow up on POs in the different ERP/inventory organizations. Manage supplier relationships for PO execution, resolve shortages and schedule changes, and ensure ERP updates are completed for all affected sites. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience in an international environment. Lead projects across sites with low risk and resource requirements. Explain information clearly and support alignment across international team members on topics within the field. Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues. Use prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy and strategy. Apply judgment and propose solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated day-to-day problems. Prioritize information for data analysis and use technical experience and analytical thinking to support decision-making. Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of the immediate team to arrive at decisions. Provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information in a straightforward manner. Impact projects, processes, and procedures in the own field while operating with high autonomy within standard functional practices and procedures. Utilize extended technical expertise, judgment, and analytic thinking to solve problems effectively. Support across various commodities and teams/sites to support evolving buisness needs. Required Qualifications For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience). For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)). Substantive and proven level of experience in a fulfilment team as a buyer Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, and execute programs. Established project management skills. Proven ability to build international networks across different functions. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
