Responsibilities
Provide advanced technical leadership for the development and execution of the Integrated Test Strategy, requirements identification, refinement, allocation, and interface definition across multiple teams and stakeholders. Independently lead initiatives, determine technical courses of action, and influence direction on major program priorities. Identify and resolve unusually complex systems and test challenges, developing innovative and effective solutions aligned with program objectives. Develop, review, and approve key program documents such as Integrated Test Strategy (ITS), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), traceability matrices, and verification plans. Guide and mentor junior and mid-level systems engineers, transferring critical knowledge and cultivating technical excellence across the team. Serve as the primary technical liaison and advisor to internal leadership and external customers, representing the organization on advanced technical matters and facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration. Ensure requirements quality, traceability, and compliance through the full engineering lifecycle, from test planning through verification execution. Qualifications
Bachelor of science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline with 12 years of related experience OR Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 10 years of related experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience Active DoD Secret clearance (current and in-scope), with ability to obtain/maintain SAP approval 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience with significant responsibility for technical leadership and innovation 4+ years with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS) 2+ years of Test Engineering experience Demonstrated leadership in developing and guiding solutions to unusually complex technical challenges

6+ years of Systems Engineering with large, complex systems/programs
Experience

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. #Sentinelintandtest Primary Level Salary Range: $152,900.00 - $229,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
