Senior Account Executive, Corporate This is a junior level account service role within the Corporate team. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The role requires excellent organizational ability, adaptability to changing priorities, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail, a strong interest in news, media, and communications, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client results are essential. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the development of strategic communications plans aligned with client objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications materials, often under tight deadlines and competing priorities Demonstrate tactical excellence in media relations, including planning and executing both traditional and social media outreach Commit to continuous learning and leadership development by setting and pursuing stretch goals. Supervise and support junior team members through motivation and regular feedback. Support new business development through idea generation, research, and proposal preparation. Monitor and analyze media trends and social conversations to identify emerging news, outlets, and story opportunities for clients. Provide day-to-day account support while managing multiple projects and keeping teams aligned and informed. Apply sector and industry knowledge, when appropriate, to support work across client accounts. Manage relationships with peer-level clients to ensure successful, long-term engagement. Continue developing time management and foundational budget management skills as part of project management training. Key Requirements Business-level Japanese writing skills and expert-level English writing skills. Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields, such as research, advertising, management consulting, media, content development or publishing. Ability to multitask and work effectively within a matrix organization. Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines, often with short lead times. Ability to build media relationships and develop both traditional and digital media relations strategies. Strong enthusiasm for communications and delivering high-quality client work. Ability to conduct accurate, detailed research and analysis across digital and social media. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate a point of view. High attention to detail, persistence, and strong organization and planning skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach. High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and situational awareness in client, team, and inter-office interactions.
