Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes. Assist with administrative duties and public relations, participate in Husky Baseball clinics, fundraising activities, and the ongoing support and development of student-athlete academic success. (40%) Coach athletes, including the mechanics of assigned specialty areas, and development of highly completive skills. Participate in the administration and planning of practices and strength and conditioning programs. Provide a blueprint for a successful approach to the mental aspect of the game. (40%) Participate in the organization, development and implementation of a championship Division 1 baseball program. Build and maintain positive working relationships with coaches, staff, and athletes. Work towards goals of excellence in all aspects of the program, representing the University of Washington, Athletics Department, and program with the highest professional and ethical behavior. Pay Range
Minimum: $156,000.00 annual
Pay Range
Maximum: $194,400.00 annual Other Compensation: Taxable benefits include participation in the ICA Courtesy Car Program, athletic equipment/apparel allowance, and tickets to the UW intercollegiate home competitions. Non-local candidates may be eligible for a moving allowance.
