Dematic is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to support our warehouse operations. This role is responsible for operating various types of powered industrial trucks, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts, to pick, move, locate, stack, and count product. Qualifications
What You Will Do In This Role Safely operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts to move/pick product throughout the warehouse. Load and unload materials from trailers and storage areas. Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs. Pick, stage, and transport materials according to work orders and inventory systems. Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits. Accurately complete required paperwork and system entries for material movement. Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ensure proper labeling of packages, including barcodes, shipping labels, and handling instructions. Prepare and verify shipping manifests and documentation for outbound shipments. What We are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or distribution environment. Valid certification or license to operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and sit-down forklifts. Ability to read and interpret packing slips, manifests, and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
