Job Title Credit Risk Analyst Job Description Credit Risk Analyst As a Credit Risk Analyst at Philips, you will help protect and enable the business by evaluating the financial health of our customers and supporting informed credit decisions. You will assess credit risk for business-to-business (B2B) customers, establish appropriate credit limits, monitor customer exposures, and recommend actions that balance business growth with risk management. Your role: Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, payment history, and other risk indicators to evaluate creditworthiness and determine appropriate credit limits and risk classifications. Manage and monitor customer credit exposure, applying risk mitigation tools such as credit insurance, letters of credit, guarantees, and other financial instruments. Execute credit risk and accounting processes, including period-end closing activities, reconciliations, internal controls, and compliance reviews to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Review account balances and customer portfolios, identify potential risks or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions when needed. Support the release of blocked orders by collaborating with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and other stakeholders while ensuring adherence to company credit policies. Prepare credit analyses, reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and credit risk committees, translating financial data into actionable business recommendations. You're the right fit if: You have 4+ years of experience in Credit Risk Management, Financial Analysis, Accounts Receivable Management, or related finance functions. You have solid experience performing B2B credit risk assessments, analyzing financial statements, evaluating customer creditworthiness, and making credit recommendations. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). You have advanced Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis tools. You’re a strong communicator (persuasive and assertive), proactive in problem solving and coordinating competing priorities. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart.
