Responsibilities
Develop a new EML design with semiconductor material physics, optical science, and high-speed design technology Responsible for the stable volume production and the improvement of productivity from the early stage of development Develop a new assembly technology of chips with high frequency simulation. Evaluate chips adopting a new assembly technique, analyze evaluation data and prepare technical reports. Attend a meeting to explain and discuss the results. Expected Background: BSc, MSc, PhD degree in electronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a related equivalent technical field. Bachelors and 6+ years of work experience, Masters and 4+ years of work experience. PhD. no relevant work experience. Expected Skill: Knowledge of compound semiconductor such as InP material system and material physics.
Experience
of semiconductor laser design and development with at least 1-2 years’ experience are preferable.
Experience
of product design for yield improvement and cost reduction of semiconductor laser diode are preferable. High frequency simulation skill and knowledge of semiconductor device reliability
Experience
in analyzing large volumes of experimental data using JMP or similar statistical analysis tools. Fluent Japanese speaker and intermediate English skill Basic PC skills, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Programming skills, such as Excel VBA/macros and Python, are preferred.
