Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and perform field survey tasks or collaborate with a Survey Assistant
- Operate, inspect, and maintain advanced survey equipment and vehicles
- Prepare detailed daily field notes, sketches, and reports following Apex’s procedures.
- Ensure seamless communication between the field and office teams
- Actively participate in Apex Geomatics’ Health and Safety Program, ensuring compliance
- Adhere to quality assurance and control practices to deliver precise results
- Mentor and train Junior Surveyors and Survey Assistants, fostering a collaborative team.
- Coordinate survey tasks, priorities, and deliverables with client representatives
- Represent Apex Geomatics with professionalism and a positive attitude during client interactions
Role Requirements:
- A diploma in Geomatics Technology or equivalent relevant experience is considered an asset
- 3+ years’ experience as a Surveyor is considered an asset
- Experience with Trimble, RTK and related software is considered an asset
- Strong technical competence and exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- CSTS 2020 certification
