This Position reports to: Teamlead PM Extended DCS & Products Your role and responsibilities Working as Global Product Manager - Industrial Networks, you will be a key member of the Global Product Management team within Process Control Platform. You will shape the future of secure and resilient industrial networking across ABB’s process automation portfolio. The role is fundamental to the realization of ABB’s Automation Vision. You will own the network strategy and define how network technologies and products enable open, modular, interoperable and cyber-secure automation architectures while ensuring the reliability and continuity expected in mission-critical industrial operations. The position combines strategic product management with a strong understanding of industrial automation, networking and cybersecurity. You will work across control system product lines and functions to turn technology trends, customer requirements and regulatory developments into a coherent roadmap, network portfolio and partner strategy. The work model for the role is: hybrid. This role is contributing to the Automation Process Control Platform (PCP). You will be mainly accountable for: Define and manage the global strategy, roadmap and lifecycle for ABB’s OT network technology Translate ABBs Automation Vision into secure, resilient, standards-based and interoperable network solutions Lead customer, market, competitor and technology analysis, translating insights into requirements, business cases and differentiated value propositions Develop strategic supplier and technology partnerships, including roadmap alignment, technical qualification and lifecycle commitments Shape portfolio requirements for industrial Ethernet, Ethernet-APL, switching, routing, security-zone conduits, redundancy, network management and observability Drive secure-by-design capabilities, including device identity, secure onboarding, access control, vulnerability management and lifecycle support Collaborate with R&D, system architecture, cybersecurity, product-line management, service, sales and marketing to deliver and commercialize the portfolio Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred) 5+ years of product management experience in networking, automation, or industrial technology sectors Strong understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and distributed control systems. Experience with ABB control systems System 800xA, Symphony Plus or Freelance is an advantage Good understanding of OT cybersecurity, IEC 62443, CRA and vulnerability management Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen with ability to translate market insights into products Fluent in English. Ability to travel internationally as required (10-15%) This opportunity is open to candidates in multiple countries, with the final work location determined based on the selected candidate.
