What Commercial Technologies Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience. Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles.
Responsibilities
Constantly demonstrates good process and practice Proactively drives forward the development team to deliver of business goals and technical deliverables Mentors junior members of the team Works closely with product management and software product and innovation architects to define and refine requirements and product architecture. Is responsible for driving design and approach through Enterprise ARB and Sonexus ARB Ensures compliance with necessary standards and regulations Builds software for reuse and scalability
Qualifications
4-6 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred Expertise in Java and .Net languages and associated tech stacks. Familiarity with Kafka and/or Camunda a plus What is expected of you and others at this level Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects May contribute to the development of policies and procedures Works on complex projects of large scope Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Anticipated salary range: $94,900 - $135,600 Bonus eligible: No
