Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly Complete corrective and emergency maintenance work as assigned Perform equipment adjustments, part replacements, and repairs to maintain optimal performance Follow work orders and document maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures, safety hazards, or maintenance needs Work closely with Production and Sanitation to coordinate maintenance activities. Support sanitation and startup processes following maintenance work Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition Comply with all OSHA, USDA, food safety, and Tyson policies and procedures Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE, and safe work practices at all times Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Competencies Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders Basic computer skills and ability to use CMMS systems Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Demands and Work
