Duties
and Daily Operations (25%): Coordinate with various departments to align the program’s objectives with the university’s mission and values. Hire and supervise team managers and interns/hourly employees. Serve as the liaison for parents, donors, the UW community, and other collaborative entities. Negotiate contracts for pre-season housing and meals with Housing and Food Service and some outside vendors. Develop a plan for all pre-season and pre-game meals in collaboration with ICA nutrition staff. Lead special projects and initiatives as directed by the head coach Event/Game Scheduling and Operation (20%): Manage scheduling of facilities throughout the season for practice, competitions, and clinics, in compliance with NCAA practice and play policies. Create comprehensive team schedules for all program activities and distribute to applicable parties. Assist in negotiating contracts for all non-conference games and events to include compensation for individual games, series, hotels, dates, game times and penalties for cancellations. Correspond directly with representatives from other institutions on game times and practice times. Team Travel (20%): Direct and manage all aspects of team travel in coordination with the Athletics Travel Unit including airline travel, charter buses, hotels, and other travel needs. Budgeting and Logistics (20%): Responsible for annual budget forecasting and projections. Fundraising and Alumni Relations (5%): Work with the Tyee Club to facilitate donor events and build strong alumni relations. Maintain and update the donor and alumni databases. Compliance and Student Athlete Recruiting (10%): Assist with the day-to-day management of on and off-campus recruiting activities. Support the coaching staff with recruiting paperwork and the coordination of program events. Manage compliance functions such as roster management, participation records, and CARA logs. Required

Working Conditions
Will require work during evenings and weekends and travel as needed. Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Big Ten Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University.
