The Role & Your Impact As an Senior Industry Technology Specialist, you will play a key role in driving growth and innovation within the HHC business by translating technical expertise into customer value. You will work across technical, commercial, marketing, innovation, and R&D teams to develop application solutions, support commercial opportunities, and ensure successful market launches. This is a highly collaborative role combining strategic, tactical, and hands-on technical responsibilities. Key responsibilities include: Serve as the technical expert for the industry, providing application insights and staying current with scientific and technical developments. Generate new ideas, technical concepts, publications, and patent opportunities that strengthen Novonesis’ innovation pipeline. Contribute actively to the continuous development of products, tools, services, and technical solutions. Identify, analyze, and resolve complex customer technical challenges, ensuring high-quality and value-creating solutions. Plan, coordinate, and drive technical activities involving Novonesis, customers, and external partners. Participate in customer meetings alongside Account Managers, providing technical expertise and strengthening customer relationships. Support business growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing new application opportunities and sales prospects. Take technical ownership of selected innovation projects, formulations, and portfolio initiatives. Co-own market launches by providing technical expertise throughout concept creation, pre-launch activities, and launch execution. Develop customer-focused proof-of-concept solutions and technical value propositions for commercial projects and business pitches. Act as a trusted technical partner to the techno-commercial sales team, helping develop compelling customer solutions. Conduct and supervise laboratory work, ensuring projects meet customer expectations and business objectives. Manage and coordinate external testing activities in collaboration with Technical Service Managers. Develop, improve, and implement methods and procedures based on up-to-date scientific and technical knowledge. Represent Novonesis with customers and external stakeholders on technical and project-related matters. Maintain accurate technical and customer information within relevant sales systems. Collaborate with global Technical Service, Innovation, and R&D communities to leverage worldwide expertise and best practices.
