Overview Responsible for effectively managing technologists and/or ancillary personnel by providing oversight and direction in the provision of a comprehensive range of services assigned within specific areas, procedure rooms or satellites of the department or aligned service areas and for processes and procedures that impacted daily operations. This position requires a high level of technical experience, initiative, independent judgment and understanding of clinical operations. What you will do Produces and ensures team produces quality images and studies, following appropriate RHS policies, protocols, procedures and documentation. Demonstrates understanding of operations and facilitates growth. Prevents or reduces harm through knowledge and application of all policies, procedures, protocols using safety behaviors. Responsible for team application and understanding of all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Reviews variance reports, responds to analysis/trending with action plans to support department budget goals. Ensures team members accurately complete all steps of barcode medication administration (BCMA). Assures alignment of procedure/order to diagnosis. Develops staffing plan, supports advanced certifications, cross training, and competencies.
