Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Merchandising Manager, Apparel to join our Timberland EMEA team based in Stabio/Switzerland. Let’s Talk about the Role We are looking for a Merchandising Manager, Apparel to lead Apparel merchandising across EMEA, driving DTC excellence, brand repositioning toward a more contemporary and streetwear expression, and wholesale marketplace expansion across Tier 0-3 accounts. The role is accountable for delivering consumer-relevant assortments, strong commercial results, and building a high-performing team aligned to LRP and regional priorities. How You Will Make a Difference You will achieve this by: DTC Excellence: lead premium DTC assortment strategy and segmentation, elevate product storytelling and full-price performance, and partner with VM/Retail to deliver best-in-class execution. Brand Repositioning: drive Apparel’s role in brand elevation and streetwear relevance, develop focused consumer-centric assortments, lead capsules, collaborations and SMUs to build desirability, and ensure business foundation continuity and efficiency. Wholesale Marketplace Expansion: brief, adopt and land consumer-relevant assortments for street sports, fashion and sporting goods consumer environments; execute a tiered strategy across Tier 0-3 accounts; differentiate assortments by tier and distribution; balance premium positioning with scalable growth; and manage regional SMUs and OMUs. Merchandising Strategy & GTM: translate Global direction into EMEA-relevant assortments, define line architecture, pricing and GTM execution, and deliver clear tools and product narratives. Commercial Ownership: analyse sell-in, sell-out and margin tracking, and drive in-season actions and forecasting alignment. Team Leadership & Development: lead and develop the team with clear priorities and expectations, align objectives to LRP and regional V2MOM, and foster ownership, accountability and collaboration. Cross-functional Leadership: act as an interface between Global and EMEA teams, partner with Planning, Sales, Marketing and VM, and influence with consumer and marketplace insights. Skills for Success DTC merchandising expertise. Strong knowledge of streetwear and contemporary apparel. Confidence working with wholesale apparel consumer environments. Commercial and analytical mindset. Cross-functional influence and leadership. Ability to drive KPIs including revenue, margin, sell-through, DTC full-price performance, marketplace tier expansion, GTM execution and team performance.
