The General Accountant will support our daily accounting operations, assist with accounts payable and receivable, tax filings, financial reporting, and month-end closing while working closely with the Chief Accountant. What You'll Do You will perform daily accounting data entry. You will be responsible for managing suppliers' accounts payable and receivable to enhance profit management efficiency. You will prepare and verify payments against supporting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. You will reconcile a variety of accounts as requested. You will prepare monthly tax declarations and coordinate with tax authorities. You will assist the Chief Accountant with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, and provide timely financial information and reports as required. You will perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Accountant. What We're Looking For You have experience in general accounting and financial reporting. You have experience auditing manufacturing companies. You have experience analyzing complex financial data. You have experience identifying and implementing process or technology improvements within a finance environment. You have a solid understanding of local and US GAAP accounting standards. You have good knowledge of accounting and taxation. You have knowledge of information technology and information systems concepts. You have an understanding of internal audit principles. You are proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, and SAP. You are self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You can effectively provide accounting support and advice to key stakeholders.
