This Position reports to: Sales Support Manager In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid. This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Bid Management & Compliance: Ensure adherence to bid process compliance and deliver high-quality bid documentation within defined timelines. Technical Solutioning & Support: Develop optimal technical solutions tailored to customer needs, and support the Sales team with cost-effective, technically appropriate proposals. Customer Engagement & Presentations: Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for internal teams and customers, addressing complex product-related queries. Market & Competitor Analysis: Analyze customer requirements and competitor offerings using market insights to enhance proposal quality and win rates. Performance & Sales Growth: Increase sales targets, including order volumes, profitability, and customer satisfaction (NPS). Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Share best practices, support risk review processes, and contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and lost proposal analysis. Analyzes lost proposals, identifies the potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with the Sales/ business unit to improve results. Qualifications for the role: Minimum of 4+ years in bidding/tendering for turnkey automation projects (DCS, PLC, Safety PLC, Power Management Systems) demonstrating advanced skills in cybersecurity for energy industries, preferably Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Refining sectors. Prior design engineering experience in control systems, safety systems, power management systems, and field instrumentation for both offshore and onshore industries. Thorough knowledge of industry standards, market requirements, pricing approaches, and potential business ventures. Deep knowledge of industry standards, market demands, pricing strategies, and business opportunities. Demonstrated ability to manage complex automation bids/projects effectively, both locally and internationally. Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electronics, Control, or Instrumentation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, a methodical and quality-driven mindset, a cooperative attitude, and a commitment to value creation and innovation.
