POSITION SUMMARY: The Finance & Treasury Coordinating Analyst serves as a key coordinator and liaison supporting Finance and Treasury activities across Marathon Petroleum Corporation, MPLX, and related business segments. This role is responsible for coordinating departmental operations, business initiatives, meetings and events, travel logistics, and interactions with internal and external business partners. The position partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of departmental priorities and strategic objectives. The analyst supports day-to-day department operations, projects, events, travel coordination, and special initiatives while driving operational excellence through effective coordination, project support, and process management. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, executive presence, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates the development, assembly, and distribution of presentations, briefing materials, meeting content, conference materials, communications, and other business-related deliverables. Tracks departmental priorities, deliverables, and key initiatives to support timely execution, identify potential issues, and facilitate effective coordination across stakeholders. Serves as a central point of coordination for interactions involving leadership, banking partners, external business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. Coordinates meetings, communications, and related logistical activities to support departmental objectives. Oversees planning and execution of conferences, leadership meetings, department initiatives, special events, attendee logistics, and travel coordination. Coordinates communications and information requests among internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up. Supports Finance and Treasury processes through project coordination, meeting and event management, reporting, document preparation, and cross-functional collaboration. Supports departmental operations through records management, business continuity coordination, invoice and expense processing, compiling binders, and maintenance of departmental systems and resources. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Required Three (3) years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 2+ years of experience supporting senior executives, including C-suite leaders is required.
Experience
supporting executives within a publicly traded company is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
Experience
