About the Opportunity We’re seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team at the Lincoln Regional Center (LRC), a 250-bed, Joint Commission-accredited state psychiatric hospital. As part of our Behavioral Health Division, you’ll provide expert mental health care to adults living with severe mental illness in a structured, recovery-focused setting. This is more than a job — it’s a calling to help people heal, grow, and reclaim their independence. What You’ll Do As a Psychologist at LRC, you will: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations (cognitive, personality, and risk assessments). Develop and lead individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide both individual and group therapy sessions. Serve as a key clinical voice on interdisciplinary treatment teams. Offer expert consultation on behavioral strategies and therapeutic approaches. Deliver training to staff on psychological practices and risk management. Contribute to policy improvements and program development. Provide expert testimony at mental health board hearings. What We’re Looking For

Minimum

Qualifications

Doctorate in Psychology. Licensed in Nebraska or eligible for a provisional psychology license.

Preferred Qualifications

One year of post-doctorate experience.

Experience

working with patients with severe and persistent mental illness. Key Skills for Success: Expertise in psychological assessment and treatment.
