We currently have an opportunity for a Sanitation Technician at our Winchester, VA pasta production facility, where we produce Ronzoni pasta. The Sanitation Technician performs essential work, cleaning and sanitizing our non-production areas and other parts of our facilities to ensure safe and edible product is produced consistent with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Follow sanitation checklist and best practices to complete regular, thorough cleaning of assigned areas (restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, entrances, locker rooms, offices, laboratory), and maintain master sanitation schedule Maintain proper inventory by stocking cleaning supplies, paper goods, chemicals and cleaning equipment Monitor pest traps and activity on a weekly basis, and proactively report any signs of infestations to leadership Monitor and report all product protection issues and maintenance needs as they arise Practice appropriate safety procedures when performing work assignments, and support clean-up in the event of an accident or injury on company property
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing experience, with strong preference for experience in a food manufacturing environment
