Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic hardware, including PCBAs, cables, wiring assemblies in compliance with Philips' design control processes Evaluate and select electronic and electrical components, supporting feasibility assessments based on quality, cost, and timeline constraints Contribute to the definition and execution of system-level and unit-level verification testing to validate design performance and compliance Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, driving continuous design improvements and corrective actions Develop, maintain, and ensure traceability of technical documentation in alignment with Philips quality management system requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams (systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality) on technical topics and product development activities Your Team You will be part of a global, cross-functional R&D team responsible for new product development in capnography and gas sensing. The team operates across multiple regions, working closely with colleagues in the United States, Germany, and China.

Experience
Required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering Minimum 3+ years of experience in electronic hardware development, including circuit design, debugging, and optimization Strong experience with complex PCBA design, including: Multilayer boards and BGA components High-speed and high-frequency signal design Proven expertise in EMI/EMC design and troubleshooting Familiarity with optical components and interconnects used in sensing systems Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills Proficiency in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global environment Proficiency in the use of electronic test equipment like digital oscilloscopes, waveform generators, digital multi-meters etc. Preferred
