Position Summary Safely operate a garbage truck on assigned routes to collect solid waste Read route sheets and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections including fluids, safety equipment, and tires Handle a physically demanding role including loading and unloading, sometimes without helpers Operate hydraulic controls to lift and load refuse and dispose at designated facilities Provide professional and courteous service to customers Perform other job-related duties as assigned Schedule Monday through Friday Occasional Saturdays as needed Average 50 hour work week Job Requirements ROLL-OFF EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION Candidates without previous Roll-Off driving experience will not be considered. NO MANUAL TRANSMISSION RESTRICTION Drivers must be able to operate BOTH manual and automatic transmission trucks.
