The Distribution Operations Planner Scheduler is an experienced professional with knowledge of Distribution Operations / Construction principles, practices, concepts, and theories as it relates to the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of all distribution line and substation equipment. Plans and schedules new business, maintenance, trouble shooting and inspection orders, utilizing SAP to effectively balance available personnel and operating reliability. Assists distribution operation personnel by daily scheduling customer related new business and maintenance orders, monitoring work order backlog & work history for equipment and preventive maintenance work statuses. Works with the GIS department to update SAP data associated with the GIS interface as needed to correct issues and problems as they arise. Responsible for the completion of assigned orders, processes or activities in accordance with distribution operations practices. Troubleshoots and corrects errors and incomplete work orders. Identify improvements to maintenance activities and procedures to provide quality service to Cleco’s external and internal customers. Key

Coordinates with operations managers/supervisors to assign daily work to field personnel. Assist field personnel with follow up order creation, data gathering, and data correction. Research outages to provide risk management details when requested. Assist with researching meter related orders to resolve billing issues. Continuously monitors operations orders to make sure they are worked in a timely manner. Ensure SAP Notifications, with any attached documentation, are reviewed, and, when deemed necessary, converted to work orders. Ensures the proper WBS is applied to every order and orders TECO’d on a daily basis. Provide WM and Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) support to field personnel. Assist during emergencies and storm-related activities with order management and assignment to appropriate field personnel.
