This Position reports to: Segment Sales Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the PA PI High Power Rectifiers (HPR) Business Unit in Peenya-Bangalore region in India. Main stakeholders include internal teams, vendors, and customers in the Aluminium, Zinc, Copper smelters, Chemical plants, Graphite, and Electroplating industries. You will be mainly accountable for: Generating service inquiries, engaging with potential customers, and maintaining strong relationships in Aluminium, Zinc, and Copper smelters, Chemical plants (Caustic chlorine/Chlorine dioxide), Graphite, and Electroplating industries. Selecting and configuring rectifiers and transformers, preparing specifications for rectifier transformers, harmonic filters, and cooling systems. Conducting techno-commercial evaluations of vendor offers at the pre-bid stage and preparing competitive techno-commercial proposals. Leading techno-commercial discussions with customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment with their requirements. Managing and maintaining all sales and marketing documents for audits, ensuring smooth handover of documents from marketing to order execution post-order receipt. Developing sales collateral, including brochures and technical documents, and adopting a competitive and results-driven approach for tenders to exceed budget targets. Qualifications for the role B.E. / Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales. Experience in industries such as Aluminium, Zinc, Copper, or Caustic Soda plants, with exposure to electrical and rectifier systems. Solid understanding of electrical systems, rectifier technologies, and industrial power applications. Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets and successfully closing projects. Strong expertise in business development, client relationship management, and tender/contract handling. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and customer engagement skills with a solution-oriented approach. Proficiency in English communication (written & verbal) with a professional and customer-friendly attitude.
