Role Overview We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Manila, Philippines. This role supports HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and compliance with local labor regulations while serving as a trusted point of contact for team members and people leaders. The successful candidate will oversee employment documentation, contract administration, employee movements, onboarding and offboarding activities, leave management, and HR record maintenance. This individual will coordinate with internal HR teams and external vendors to support accurate reporting, compliance, and a positive employee experience. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all employees receive timely, accurate, and customer-focused HR support while maintaining compliance with company policies and Philippine labor requirements. Responsibilities Manage onboarding and offboarding activities in partnership with people leaders, hiring managers, and relevant stakeholders. Prepare, maintain, and update employee files and HR documentation for new hires, transfers, promotions, separations, employment contracts, contract amendments, and employee status changes. Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and changes in accordance with company programs and policies, and support internal promotions, transfers, and organizational changes. Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations, while maintaining accurate employee records and documentation for audits and compliance reviews. Monitor probationary periods and provide guidance to people leaders on completion and regularization processes, and administer leave programs including sick leave, vacation leave, parental leave, and other statutory or company-provided leaves. Support work visa and employment permit requirements for foreign national employees, including renewals and required documentation, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding employee data, reporting, and compliance matters. Verify payroll inputs and support payroll accuracy through regular review and validation of employee data; prepare and maintain HR reports, including headcount reports, workforce metrics, management reporting requirements, and mandatory government reporting required by relevant Philippine authorities. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and provide timely, professional support; coordinate with external HR vendors and service providers as needed; support employee engagement initiatives, feedback programs, workshops, and company surveys; participate in HR process improvement, automation initiatives, and regional or global HR transformation projects; and perform other HR-related duties as assigned. Your Profile Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or HR operations role. Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, employment practices, payroll processes, and HR administration. Experience managing employee documentation, benefits administration, leave management, HR compliance, and employee lifecycle processes. Familiarity with visa and work permit administration for foreign employees is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities. Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee information.
