Job Description Summary The Workday Integrations and Solution Architect is an important role responsible for designing and architecting comprehensive Workday solutions that align with the organization's business needs and technical requirements. This individual acts as the technical expert, providing expertise in Workday architecture, integrations, security, and data management. They collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that Workday solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet long-term business objectives. By aligning Workday best practices with business needs, you will be ensuring high-quality data integrity and system usability across the enterprise as part of the Sandoz Transformation Enterprise Program (STEP). Job Description Major accountabilities: Design and architect end-to-end Workday solutions, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, and other modules. Develop and maintain Workday architectural blueprints, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards. Evaluate and recommend Workday configurations to meet business requirements. Evaluate and recommend Workday configurations to meet sunsetting requirements of legacy applications like SAP HR Core. Design and implement robust integration strategies between Workday and other enterprise systems. Provide technical leadership and guidance on Workday architecture, integrations, security, and data management. Mentor and guide technical team members on Workday solution design and implementation. Stay abreast of Workday releases and updates, evaluating their impact and recommending adoption strategies. Design and implement complex Workday integrations using various tools and technologies (e.g., EIB, Workday Studio, Connectors, Pipedream). Solution Design: Develop comprehensive solution designs that align with business objectives, leveraging different technologies. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field Workday Pro Certification in Integrations Certification in project management methods (Agile, ITIL, Prince 2, PMI) is a plus Work
Experience
Direct involvement in at least 2 to 3 full life-cycle enterprise-wide Workday deployments in global setup. Proven experience designing enterprise solutions leveraging integration platforms and toolkits like EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio. Deep technical understanding of integration designs in Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Absence Management, Payroll). Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Workday data and tenant design structures. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
