What success looks like in this role: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Load Control / Weight & Balance processes and systems Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements Translate complex operational needs into functional specifications and user stories Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate implementation of W&B logic, constraints, and regulatory requirements Support solution design, validation, and UAT cycles, including defect triage and resolution Ensure alignment with aviation standards, safety regulations, and defense compliance requirements Drive process improvements and optimization across load planning and aircraft configuration workflows Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and cross-functional alignment #LI-ND1 You will be successful in this role if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with strong domain expertise in Load Control / Weight & Balance Hands-on experience with aircraft load planning systems, payload optimization, and CG calculations Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks (e.g., ICAO, EASA, or military standards) Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical deliverables
Experience
working in Agile / Scrum environments Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
working on defense or government aviation programs (e.g., Ministry of Defence or similar) Familiarity with digital aviation platforms or transformation programs Exposure to data modeling, system integrations, and APIs Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) Key Skills Aircraft Weight & Balance / Load Control expertise
