You will be responsible for delivering HR Service support to the HR community, business managers and employees. as well as Time & Absence. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the human resources in Switzerland. Main stakeholders are HRBPs, HR Service Specialist, Employees, Compensation office, insurance companies. You will be mainly accountable for: You will deliver HR services and payroll support to HR, line managers, and employees, ensuring clear communication of policies related to Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Time & Absence. You will process HR inquiries, prepare reports for external authorities, and ensure data quality and accuracy in all systems and databases. You will contribute to annual processes such as tax statements collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure adherence to risk and control standards, identify opportunities for process improvements, and live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications
for the role You hold a commercial degree with additional education in HR or Payroll You bring 3-5 years work experience in a similar role within Payroll or HR Operations and possess knowledge of Swiss tax and social security laws, including AHV, IV, EO, BVG, and UVG. You are customer-oriented, reliable, and accurate in your work, with strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote) is required, and experience with Workday and/or SAP HCM is highly desirable. Fluency in German and English is essential, with French and/or Italian language skills considered an additional asset. You hold a current work permit valid in Switzerland (EU/EFTA).
