Be the First to Apply Job Description Deputy Manager - Accounts PayableThe Deputy Manager – Domestic Payments is responsible for managing end-to-end domestic payment operations for vendor and employee reimbursements through SAP S/4HANA. The role ensures timely and accurate payment processing, compliance with statutory and company policies, effective stakeholder management, and continuous process improvement. The incumbent works closely with Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless payment execution while maintaining strong internal controls and operational efficiency. Manage end-to-end domestic payment processing for vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, advances, and other business-related payments through SAP S/4HANA. Ensure all payments are processed accurately within defined turnaround times and in accordance with company policies. Review and approve payment proposals, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls. Coordinate payment runs through banking portals and monitor successful payment execution. Handle urgent, ad hoc, and high-value payments while ensuring appropriate approvals. Execute and monitor payment runs using SAP S/4HANA. Resolve payment blocks, exceptions, duplicate payments, rejected transactions, and system-related issues. Work with the SAP support team to identify system enhancements, automation opportunities, and issue resolution. Ensure accurate master data related to vendors, payment methods, and bank details. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to payment volumes, ageing, payment failures, exceptions, and productivity. Analyse trends and recommend corrective actions to improve payment performance. Support management with dashboards and operational metrics.
