Job description

Job Details: The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is a senior-level professional responsible for leading and overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's infrastructure systems. They provide expert guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to the team, ensuring the company's infrastructure's reliability, scalability, and security. • Having 9+ years of industry experience with focus on ServiceNow Platform. • Serve as the technical authority for Discovery architecture, driving coverage expansion, troubleshooting gaps, and optimizing data quality across the CMDB, service mapping • Lead the technical development of ServiceNow Discovery by expanding coverage, improving data quality, optimizing discovery patterns and schedules, and driving automation across the CMDB • Must have Advanced knowledge in ITOM, CMBD, Discovery & Service Mapping is required. • Responsible for maintaining Discovery, troubleshooting/resolving issues and also for Service Mapping of the Tyson portfolio. •

Experience

in SN Integration experience, Reporting and PA knowledge • SNOW - Discovery architecture, Gap Analysis, comm skills, stakeholder • Providing technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a collaborative environment. • Lead sessions with cross-functional teams to review performance analysis, capacity planning, and optimization of infrastructure systems to ensure high availability and performance. • Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect infrastructure systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. • Automating infrastructure deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet. • Lead collaborating sessions with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure-as-code practices and ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration. • Staying up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in infrastructure management and recommending improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency. • Perform other assigned job-related duties that align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience. Computer Science or Computer Engineering Preferred. Preferred Certification(s): Any relevant IT Certification.

Experience

9+ years of relevant and practical experience in infrastructure management, network administration, or system engineering. Soft Skills: • Mentoring: Mentoring and coaching of junior and mid-level engineers. • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities for infrastructure planning. • Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities for complex infrastructure challenges. • Strategic Alignment: Aligning technical solutions with long-term business goals. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working effectively with various departments and stakeholders. • Conflict Resolution: Addressing and resolving team conflicts and technical disagreements. • Skill Development: Developing the skills and capabilities of team members.
