The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s SEIT System Performance Analysis team. *This position is contingent upon program award and the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Responsibilities

Participate in the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, test, and verification. Support the planning and development of new programs, helping structure execution around appropriate lifecycle development methods. Development and documentation of system specifications, interface control documents (ICDs), and system architecture. Assist in conducting trade studies and analyses to optimize system performance, risk, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hardware and test engineers, to ensure successful system integration. Support the development and execution of system-level test plans and procedures. Analyze test data and identify root causes of system anomalies or failures. Contribute to technical reviews and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Basic

Qualifications

for Systems Engineer: Systems Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field with 2 years of related experience; OR a Master’s degree and/or PhD in a STEM field with 0 years of related experience. Active Secret Clearance at time of application Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills and systems thinking mindset Knowledge of and experience in MATLAB, C, C++, CUDA, SysML, MBSE, Python, Julia, Cameo, DOORS, Jira, Confluence or other languages/tools Ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

for Systems Engineer: Agile development experience Domain Knowledge or course history of space systems

Experience

in an abstract modeling environment (Rhapsody, Cameo, UML, SysML, etc) for space systems evaluation

Experience

performing system verification and validation Working knowledge of EOIR systems, optics, algorithms, detection or tracking Knowledge of and experience in model-based systems engineering concepts such as SysML and tools such as Cameo and Rhapsody

Experience

with virtual environments, operational analysis or mission modeling (AFSIM, STK, BRAWLER, ATCOM, ONESAF,SIMULINK)

Experience
