$44.15 - $66.25 Assistant Clinical Manager – Medical ICU (MICU) Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood) Full time; Mon-Fri with occasional weekend split shift Where You Will Work: The 17 bed medical intensive care unit delivers exceptional care to a population consisting of the most medically complex cardiac, sepsis, respiratory, and renal patients. This unit has strong partnerships with a dedicated medical resident team and state of the art equipment, including the cutting-edge EICU, which features around-the-clock simultaneous audio and video monitoring of ICU patients all from one central command center. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS 3-4 years of nursing experience in Critical Care

as a charge nurse (1 year) Demonstrated leadership skills/experience What You’ll Do: This position assists the Manager of Clinical Operations in the MICU providing administrative and clinical leadership on all shifts. The Assistant Clinical Manager will help plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources to provide the highest quality patient care with trained professional and competent staff in the most cost-effective manner. This role will also assist in the provision of ongoing educational and professional development of staff. In conjunction with the manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager will collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care. Accountabilities: Performance of the principle duties and responsibilities of the RN position and serves as a role model for professional practice In collaboration with the Manager of Clinical Operations manages patient care delivery to optimize patient outcomes customer satisfaction and efficient resource management Promotion and support of an environment that is conducive to staff growth and development and autonomy About This Location: Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center’s history spans 100 years of caring for the community in the heart of Lakeview in Chicago, IL.
