MBA/PGDBM or Any Post Graduation would be added advantage RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: ·15-20 years in a good organization in any of the following industries: oPharma oFMCG oChemical ·Should have handled Capital procurement activity independently oStrategic Sourcing and execute Capex procurement strategies: Align procurement plans with business objectives to ensure effective capital expenditure management. oSupplier and contractor selection: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and contractors for major capital projects, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards. oRelationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, contractors, and service providers to foster collaboration and ensure project success. oPerformance monitoring: Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery timelines, addressing any issues promptly. oRisk assessment and mitigation: Implement supplier risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project continuity. oSupplier development: Drive supplier development initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation, enhancing overall project outcomes. oCross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of Capex projects. oProcurement expertise: Provide procurement expertise for capital projects, including construction, equipment purchases, and facility expansions. oBudget management: Manage procurement budgets and report on cost savings, spend analytics, and project timelines to ensure financial objectives are met. oCompliance assurance: Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability goals. oBest practices implementation: Implement best-in-class procurement practices to ensure transparency, efficiency, and ethical sourcing. oRegulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to Capex investments. oMarket Analysis: Monitor market trends and industry developments to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for strategic advantage. Competencies o Should have handled Capex procurement for API, Formulation & Chemicals facilities in Pharma industry (Annual Spend Volume Rs. 500-700 Crore) oExposure in pharma process equipment, Utility equipment’s & contracts (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC etc.) oData Analytics oSound reporting and presentation skills oExperience in working across complex Service & Supply agreements ( Domestic & International) oDemonstrated success in negotiating with Vendors oClear communication skills, both verbally and in written format. oStrong analytical and problem solving skills, Good in MS Excel oAbility to influence key stakeholders Essential Qualification Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Civil / Chemical/ Electrical) degree from a reputed institute.
