· Design, Plan, Install, Administer and Troubleshoot applications, systems, and services in production and lab/test environments · Analyze and resolve complex problems including interoperability issues caused by hardware, software, or network components · Participate in architecture/design review, requirements analysis, capacity planning and provide guidance to development and product management teams · Assist in Integration of applications and services with network management tools and other enterprise tools · Develop KPIs and other system metrics for capacity planning, performance management, and monitoring · Oversee daily operations of large-scale carrier grade systems; schedule, document and implement maintenance and troubleshooting procedures as necessary · Pro-actively communicate status to project managers, upper management, and customers · Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain 24x7 service support

· 4+ years’ experience administering applications and services hosted on Linux (RHEL and derivate) operating systems · 2+ years’ experience planning, integrating, and operating carrier or enterprise grade high-availability telecom solutions · Understanding of Systems and Network Architecture of large-scale distributed networks · Understanding and working knowledge of IP networks and security devices including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs ·
Experience
integrating with monitoring, analytics, and network management tools and products such as Splunk · Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills · Demonstrated problem solving and incident management skills Optional Desired

with an automation framework such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet ·

with Foreman helpful ·
