Think of yourself as someone who is responsible for the creation of interactive and engaging self-paced lessons. Not just anyone is qualified for this role! We make sure we get the best of the best. After all, we are a ridiculously good company, so we make sure our employees are top-notch. So come on, now we need your full attention because it’s time to imagine what it’s like being a Learning Interactions Expert. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: to get rid of traditional classroom training and replace it with personalized learning ecosystems, delivered on-demand. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that you’ll develop complex instructional media catered to varying learning styles and needs. As a Learning Interactions Expert, you will develop advanced learning peripherals including (but not limited to): guided tool simulations, interactive lessons and assessments, instructional videos, and game-based courses. You will coordinate with the the LX Design Team to develop and implement learning experiences that will target desired learning outcomes. You will also utilize various graphics, video, and course authoring software to develop visually appealing and modern-looking instructional media, keeping visual design principles in mind as you develop every single output. Your success as a Learning Interactions Expert will be measured through your adherence to project timelines (as outlined by the project lead/manager), your presentation and application of innovative learning media, and the contribution/impact of your developed media to learning outcomes (as measured by Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation 1 to 3). So, do you have what it takes to become a Learning Interactions Expert? Requirements: So, what is it we’re looking for? Well, since this is a Learning Interactions Expert post, we need someone who already has the skills to even call themselves a Learning Interactions Expert. So, if you’re someone with a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts or equivalent, that’s great! Please note, though, that it’s not a requirement for the post. We need someone with at least 1-2 years of work experience in the related field. Training delivery experience is an advantage, but is not required. We also need someone who has experience in developing instructional materials. Someone who has experience creating static and motion graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Edge Animate, and so on) would definitely have an edge. We’re also on the lookout for someone who has experience developing instructional media with at least one e-learning authoring tool (Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline are preferred) and a solid grasp of visual design principles. And, if you’re familiar with the levels of e-learning development/interaction, Bloom’s Taxonomy of Learning Domains, the ADDIE model of instructional design, Gagne's 9 Events of Instruction, and Mayer’s 12 Principles of Multimedia Learning, you could be great fit! Finally, if you can learn to use new software/hardware easily and have a background in computer programming, then you may be the person we’re looking for.
