Your Role: Payroll Specialist As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the EBS Guadalajara team to deliver input services for defined country payrolls. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, collaborating with key stakeholders, and providing payroll services via the EBS. Your

Responsibilities

Payroll Data Preparation and Processing: Prepare data for third-party payroll partners, collaborating with HRBPs and ensuring adherence to SOX controls and country-specific regulations. Escalate any deviations from local or international regulations. Process Management and Execution: Manage daily payroll processes (data entry, corrections, uploads, reversals/reissues), ensuring adherence to established timelines and procedures for all internal and external parties involved. Payroll Reconciliation and Verification: Review, analyze, and reconcile time/payroll data, verifying timekeeping records and addressing discrepancies with managers/employees. Calculate and execute off-cycle/supplementary payrolls and retroactive salary data. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare benefits-related reports, create accounting documentation for GL posting of payroll transactions, develop ad-hoc financial/operational reports, and maintain appropriate records. Query Resolution and Compliance: Resolve employee/manager queries within defined SLAs, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Comply with all company policies (local and global), including legal, privacy, and HSE guidelines. What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in HR, Finance, IT or related field. Required

Experience

minimum 1 year experience in managing payroll from other countries besides Mexico (COL y/o BR). Working with payroll stakeholders like ADP, Manpower, etc. English is a must, proficient level. Excel knowledge. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
