Summary: The Global SSC Intercompany Senior Accountant is responsible for the reconciliation/reporting and investigation of transactions between Baxter and Vantive. Responsibilities
Prepare manual journals as needed for related activity with adequate supporting documentation Reconcile global Vantive AP and AR transactions/balances against Baxter AP and AR transactions/balances Prepare/design reports to monitor open AP AR balances/transactions Track and investigate differences which may arise and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner Work with regional central team accountants on ensuring proper logging and distribution of invoices and resolution of outstanding issues Raise, track and document various ad-hoc invoices raised between Baxter and Vantive Prepare account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlines Respond to queries from local country finance and stakeholders in a timely manner Provide audit support as needed Support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet & P&L Flux analysis Support monthly/quarterly/annual close processes Ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls Support local, regional, and global projects, as required Maintain focus on continuous process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience Proven experience in a multinational environment and/or audit. Proven experience in indirect taxes. Good knowledge of US GAAP. Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, PowerBI, Power Query

Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or part qualified ACCA/CIMA. Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
Experience
