Description The Learning and Development Specialist serves as the vital link between the Mx organization and the broader CAE, focusing on courseware and new learning technologies. The individual plays a crucial role in implementing innovative learning solutions and proposes new directions for courseware. The focus is on ensuring that our training programs are engaging, effective, and aligned with our organizational goals. The Learning and Development Specialist is passionate about collaborative learning and has a strong understanding of AI-driven learning technologies, gamification, and digital certification. Implement and Manage LMS solutions: Liaise with technology vendors and oversee the deployment, ongoing management of the LMS platform and sustainment of current BAMT specific technologies. The individual has the responsibility to maintain uptime of existing systems and ensure seamless integration of new technologies with our existing systems. Utilize AI tools to support the creation and customize engaging courses, incorporating various content formats such as SCORM, videos, PDFs, and interactive quizzes. New Technologies: Act as the BAMT lead for incubating new scalable technologies which could improve delivery and experience of training for Maintenance Technicians. In addition, the candidate is responsible for integrating these new technologies within the broader CAE ecosystem, liaising with the other functions within CAE (such as GTP) and providing forward thinking recommendations on new projects to incubate. Courseware Project Management & governance routines: Coordinating with the MX Courseware & Training
Experience
Leader that courseware projects from the GTP team arrive on time and on budget. Coordinate with SMEs in the ops team and meet launch target dates. Utilize the LMS platform’s analytics and reporting tools to track learner progress, identify trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement. Minimum
