Experience
Innovation team in Eindhoven, we explore future product ideas and translate complex product functions into clear, compelling stories. We are looking for a creative and technically curious intern who can help us both develop new product concepts and explain them through strong visual storytelling, demo videos, animations and AI-powered content creation. This internship is ideal for a student who enjoys understanding how products work, simplifying technical details, and turning them into inspiring visual content that helps teams, stakeholders and consumers understand the value of an idea. In this role, you will: Support front-end innovation projects by exploring new product ideas, features and user experiences. Dive into products such as baby bottles, breast pumps, soothers and connected baby monitors to understand how they work. Create clear and engaging “killer demo” videos that explain product benefits and technical functions. Use tools such as video editing, 3D animation, motion graphics, rendering and generative AI to speed up concept visualization and storytelling. Translate complex technical information into simple, consumer-relevant narratives. Support competitive analysis to show how our product functions compare with key competitors. Collaborate with product developers, scientists, designers and marketing colleagues to ensure content is accurate, inspiring and aligned with our design language. You're the right fit if You are studying Product Design, Industrial Design, Design Engineering, Media Design, Communication & Multimedia Design, or a related field. You have a strong interest in physical products, product innovation and how technology creates meaningful consumer benefits. You are skilled in visual storytelling, video creation, editing, animation or motion graphics. You have experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Blender, KeyShot, Final Cut Pro or similar. You are curious about using generative AI tools for storyboarding, scripting, visualization, animation, editing or faster creative exploration. You can understand technical product details and translate them into simple, engaging explanations. You are hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a multidisciplinary innovation team. This role is less suited to students who want to focus mainly on social media content, brand campaigns, pure graphic design, pure digital UX/UI, or video production without a strong interest in physical products and technology. We are specifically looking for someone who can bridge product understanding, innovation thinking and visual storytelling. Does this sound like you? Apply now and share your resume together with a portfolio, videos, animations or other self-made work that shows your creativity, technical curiosity and ability to make ideas tangible. Graduation: We prefer this to be a regular 6-month internship. A graduation assignment is possible, but only if it can be clearly connected to our innovation projects and leaves enough time to contribute broadly to other team activities. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. We offer you: A non-stop growth opportunity within a global multinational company. In addition, we also want to renumerate you well for the opportunity. This includes: Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata. Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations.
