Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable Angular applications that are cloud-based and integrate services related to live data streaming and storage. Lead a team of junior engineers through design discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring. Collaborate with UX designers to deliver intuitive, responsive user interfaces. Build or review backend REST APIs and ensure well-defined API contracts. Optimize frontend performance using Angular best practices and Core Web Vitals metrics. Deploy and manage applications on GCP using containerized CI/CD pipelines. Conduct problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against component and sub-system requirements Actively engaging in continuous learning through peer review and professional development opportunities. Ensuring product quality by unit test, functional, and system tests in collaboration with automation engineers. Apply and mentor others on advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts across various products within the business unit. Generate and review the necessary documents with project teams. (requirements/design/architecture/bugs/test). Troubleshoot production issues and improve application reliability. Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate engineering productivity while maintaining code quality.
Preferred Qualifications
(Strongly desired): Technical Skills: Expert level working knowledge of Angular, node.js anwarehousingExpert-level,d api development Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), data warehouse, RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and microservices architecture. Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java and Scala.
Experience
with cloud platforms preferably GCP. Working experience with data streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka), GCP Pub-Sub, etc is good to have but not mandatory. Knowledge of testing frameworks, version control systems (Gitlab, Git), and CI/CD pipelines. Software Process Skills: •
