Be the First to Apply Job Description Area Sales OfficerJob Summary** The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the effective promotion and distribution of the company's pharmaceutical products. Job Responsibilities** * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for the designated territory. * Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to drive product adoption and prescription. * Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and stockists to promote products, address inquiries, and provide product information. * Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and report findings to management. * Manage and optimize product distribution channels, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely delivery to customers. * Organize and participate in medical camps, product launches, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. * Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports accurately and on time. * Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements. * Train and educate medical representatives or other junior sales staff, if applicable, within the assigned area. * Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction. Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus. * Minimum of 2-5 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a similar role. * Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. * Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and market dynamics. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. * Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships. * Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. * Fluency in English and the local regional language(s) is essential.
