Job Title: Senior Product Manager SailPoint is the leader in identity security for the cloud enterprise. About the role: SailPoint is looking for a Product Manager to join our newly formed shared services team. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our platform by contributing directly to SailPoint's vision for shared capabilities. You will work closely with Product Management, Product Design, and Engineering to conceptualize, design, and deliver foundational services that power the entire SailPoint portfolio. This position requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, hands-on experience, and excellent communication skills to navigate complex challenges in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Roadmap for success: 30 Days Goal: Onboard and integrate into the team. Activities: Build relationships with peer Product Managers and Engineering stakeholders. Familiarize yourself with the shared services vision and the specific problem areas you'll be addressing. Actively participate in team meetings to understand the current product backlog and priorities. 90 Days Goal: Contribute to active product discovery and development efforts. Activities: Collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine requirements and deliver production-ready work. Engage with stakeholders to scope work, understand its impact, and gain consensus. Begin contributing to the product roadmap and backlog prioritization. 6 Months Goal: Own and ship services from conception to release. Activities: Drive the development and release of new services based on your product vision. Shepherd features through the entire development lifecycle, from planning to launch readiness. Define and track key metrics to measure the success and adoption of new deliverables against business goals. 1 Year Goal: Influence platform strategy and drive innovation. Activities: Collaborate with leadership to significantly influence the design and product strategy for your areas of responsibility. Identify and experiment with new solutions to shape the future of the SailPoint platform. Gather production feedback to create a data-driven product backlog.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a product management role. A compelling track record of working with engineering teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise software products. Extensive experience managing SaaS and/or cloud infrastructure products.

Experience

with open platform connectivity technologies such as web and micro-services is a plus. A passion for high-quality, scalable solutions, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Exceptional judgment in applying product management principles and processes to solve complex business challenges. Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels. An experimental and innovative mindset, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and incorporate feedback to continuously improve our products.

Education

& Travel: BA/BS in a business or technical field is required. An MBA is a plus. This position requires approximately 15% travel.
